with the new “Genius Sidebar” on itunes! it’s awesome…of course, it may not actually be new as i usually ignore the “updates” for a long time before i allow them. i’m an old stick in the mud. but today i did it. i guess you can only watch so many episodes of The Office on a rainy day before you start looking for something else to do.
anyway, i tried it out by playing one of my favorites- “New Slang” by The Shins. itunes then gives recommendations to other bands i might like…well long story short i found a new favorite- a band called Arcade Fire. their sound kind of reminds me of a cross between Modest Mouse and The Killers.
